Marcus Wong is the heart and soul of Dollar Make Dollars. With over a decade of experience in corporate finance and private banking, he has the know-how to back up his advice. He holds an MBA from the University of London, and a BSc in Finance (Hons) from UTAR, giving him the expertise needed for top-notch financial planning and investment strategies.

In 2023, Marcus worked at the insurtech start-up Bolttech, where he used technology to make insurance more accessible and user-friendly. He focused on improving digital engagement and creating inclusive financial products, leading to successful digital platforms and significant user growth. Now, representing Prudential Assurance Singapore, Marcus continues to deliver personalized financial advice and comprehensive financial planning services. He helps clients with retirement planning, education savings, and tax optimization. Marcus is committed to financial inclusion and sustainable finance, making financial advice more accessible and effective for everyone. 

From 2018 to 2023, Marcus worked with J.P. Morgan Chase and BNP Paribas in private banking, focusing on wealth management and investment advisory. He created customer-friendly financial products that garnered client satisfaction. During this time, Marcus also contributed to volunteering for community events like the Cha-Ching financial literacy program, teaching kids the importance of good financial habits. His work in banking and promoting financial literacy helped people with retirement planning, education savings, and investment returns optimization. Marcus's approach included personalized financial strategies, portfolio management, and risk assessment, making financial advice simple, accessible and practical.

Marcus started his journey in the financial world by working with boutique firms on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate restructuring for SGX-listed companies. He sharpened his skills in research and data analytics, helping to streamline financial strategies and improve decision-making processes. This period was marked by successful M&A deals and significant budgeting, laying a strong foundation for his expertise in financial planning, investment advisory, and wealth management.
